Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit for the position of Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, within the Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Department.
Reporting to the Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Director, the incumbent’s role shall:
- Work with management, customers and employees to develop community programs in line with the Airtel brand and strategy.
- Be responsible for writing and the production of an internal Corporate Social Responsibility magazine.
- Execute and monitor the programs initiated and as directed by the CSR committee in order to realize the desired and integral positioning of the company
- Build synergies with all other departments in the company to plan and create strategies, tactics, activities, and material for the purpose of conveying positive CSR messages to employees.
- Build relations and partnerships with the community, employees and all strategic business partners.
- Compile data from all ongoing projects and give updates on how the company’s support is assisting the community and attaining its corporate objectives and ensure timely submission of the monthly reports to the Africa Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.
- Ensure timely communication on both new and ongoing initiatives and projects to all key stakeholders including employees, partners and the public at large.
- Serve as Secretary to the corporate social responsibility committee; scheduling and leading calls and meetings, coordinating and tracking assignments and deliverables.
- Managing and monitoring the CSR budgets.

- University degree in arts, business, communications or journalism.
- Post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
- IT literacy especially in word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- 4 to 5 years’ relevant work experience or in a similar position.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Business awareness with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent planning, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- High personal standards and goal oriented.
- Excellent and effective oral and written communications skills.
- Strong networking skills.
