Job description
- Carry out Marketing Intelligence by researching, analysing and evaluating the market environment
- Monitor threats and opportunities and amend actions where necessary, to ensure brand/Sales development
- Analyse internal marketing activities and create relevant Marketing strategies
- Collate research data to be used in New Product Development
- Develop, manage and implement creative, effective and successful annual marketing plans for the stores along with the chain marketing strategy and annual market plan and budget
- Keep effective control of budgets
- Prepare complete presentation of any advertising/promotional campaign to the CEO
- Supervise the monitoring of all advertising campaigns, related to competitors to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly
- Maintain close liaison with all departments on activities and seek advice if required
- Provide leadership and motivation to the Marketing Team
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned to him by the CEO
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing
- Professional chartered marketer (CIM).
- Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
- Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
