Location: Nairobi, Kenya
URC is currently seeking candidates for a USAID Cross Border Health Integrated Partnership program based in Kenya. This five-year project will support sustainable and African-led regional health development partnerships to improve health outcomes among mobile populations and vulnerable communities residing along Eastern, Central and Southern African transport corridors and cross-border sites.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Health Systems Policy and Regulatory Analyst will lead the development and implementation of strategies and work plans that focus on integrated health systems strengthening, sustainability, feasibility, and policies for the project.
Minimum qualifications:
- Advanced degree in health policy and administration, health sector development, political science or related field
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant professional experience managing and implementing health policy and advocacy programs with a minimum of (5) years’ experience in sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Africa experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with government representatives, for-profit private sector entities, local community organizations, donors and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent references.
