Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include:
•Report writing
•Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to front-end users
•Installing and testing new versions/release of the DBMS
•Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
•Controlling access permissions and privileges
•Ensuring that storage, replication with disaster recovery site, back-up and fail over procedures are functioning correctly
•Commissioning and installing new applications and customizing existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose.
•Administering and Maintaining a SharePoint 2013 Farm
•Performance point reports design and environment management
•Produce or support the production of standard, custom and dashboard reports utilizing data warehouse and transactional systems
•Utilize advanced analytical skills, provide comprehensive KPI’s (key performance indicators) to management that interpret patterns, trends, and determine overall financial performance and resource utilization
Requirements
Skills & Competencies:•Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent
•Microsoft certification on database administration and/or reporting services
•Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2013
•Knowledge on advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities such as pivot tables
•Good oral and written communication
•Good interpersonal skills and good judgment
•Positive outgoing personality
•Team player
The successful candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
