HR/ Industrial Relations Officer
Profile

Requirements
- Education, Degree from a recognized institution and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management especially from Institute of Human
- Resource Management or Kenya Institute of Management
- Has worked in the manufacturing Industry handling Unionisable employees
- Has extensive knowledge in labor Laws and Labor relations
- Is able to relate with Nairobi County Council, Immigration Department, Kenya Revenue Authority, NEMA and other publics
- Is able to relate with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds without being judgmental
- Provide a leadership role in the department and in the Organization
- Very Assertive and firm in decision making in matters relating to staff
- Very organized, work within deadlines and require minimal or no supervision
- Self-disciplined and ethical in character
- Excellent communicator in spoken and written English and Kiswahili
- Excellent writing skills in drafting of official letters and memos
- Patient enough to handle union officials in a civil manner without being aggressive
- Win trust by keeping staff issues very private and confidential
- Be able to counsel and guide employees on various issues that will be brought forth.
- Be a link between staff and management
