PURPOSE
The purpose of the role is to lead the development of the PMIO commercial strategy, focused into the execution of our RTC projects and grow the overall sales capability environment in every PMIO markets.
In short, to ensure we win in market, now and in the future, with an inspired, motivated and equipped team capable of exceeding all goals asked of it.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualification- Suitable university degree. Business qualification ideal.
- French and English fluency
- High cognitive ability
Experience1) Strategic and hands-on commercial experience (8+ years).
2) A real focus and demonstrated track record around creating the conditions for people to succeed; the candidates for these roles should be some of our best coaches and people managers.
3) Demonstrated strength in managing the external environment as the individuals in these roles typically act as the face of Diageo in very large markets.
4) The strategic skills to be able to reframe the business and develop plans to beat the competition. RTM/RTC experience is required

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Make a significant contribution to the PMIO strategy, leading the organisation both within and outside the commercial functional area
- Secure the best RTC in all our PMIO priority markets.
- Support our 4 business Units with the best-in-class RTC proposal.
- Motivate the third party sales force behind a clear, simple and powerful trade strategy, engendering strong and supportive trade relationships at senior and industry level
- Drive the highest standards of execution throughout the business
- Obtain and apply data to drive informed planning and the delivery of excellence in business performance
- Partner with all GMs to recruit, develop, retain, lead and motivate the Sales and Commercial team to ensure superb execution of plans across the Region
- Foster outstanding collaboration and build relationships both within and outside Diageo Partner Markets
You will need to have:Functional Capabilities
- an entrepreneurial philosophy (lean resources and real ownership within a small team)
- Strong Route to market, route to consumer experience.
- Good commercial finance understanding
- Ability to shape channel and trade strategies considering the different contexts we do business with.

- This role has significant people leadership responsibility through assembling, directing, inspiring and developing the RTC agenda in PMIO
