Nature scope
The role of the position holder will be to contribute to the strategic and day to day coordination and implementation of the Bank’s staff performance management cycle and all its resultant outcomes, including the development of the Bank’s talent and management and development initiatives and the implementation of all learning and training programmes for the Bank.
Duties and responsibilities
Oversee the timely implementation of the Bank’s Staff Performance Management Cycle. This will include ensuring that staff submits their individual objectives on time, alongside their reviews for the period.
Make proposals on required improvements to the performance appraisal system and assist in ensuring that the performance management process is well understood and implemented across the Bank.
Conducting the annual training and development needs analysis and developing required training plans accordingly as well as priorities such training activity based on business needs while promoting on the job development activities/programs.
Regularly reviews LD policies, procedures and practices and recommend improvements to management.
Manage all special learning development assignments including Internships, the Junior Professional Programme, Secondments etc.., while keeping track of such alumni for talent pipeline management purposes.
Coordinating the orientation and induction programs for new staff.
Assisting the Head of HR in other HR related tasks including but not limited to recruitment, reward benefits management, staff welfare, discipline and grievance management etc.

Skills, Knowledge and Attitude
A relevant first degree and a post graduate degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology or related qualification from a recognized University.
A recognized professional qualification in HR or related field will be an added advantage.
Sound experience of at least 5 years within the financial services industry and demonstrable experience in HR management, especially performance management, learning and development, talent and career management, succession planning, and considerable knowledge of how these work.
