The Trans-Nzoia County Assembly Service Board wishes to invite applications from qualified persons for the following positions:
Senior Accounts Controller ( 1 post)
Ref: TN/CAS/2013/12
The office will be responsible to the clerk for the efficient management of financial and accounting services in the assembly.

The office will be responsible to the clerk for the efficient management of financial and accounting services in the assembly.
The duties and responsibilities will include;
i. Advising the Clerk on financial and accounting matters;
ii. Developing and executing financial and accounting management and control systems in line with the Public Finance Management act, 2012;
iii. Issuing financial management instructions and maintaining effective internal control systems;
iv. Coordinating the budget formulation, preparation, execution, accounting and reporting;
v. Monitoring, evaluating and overseeing the management of public finances and economic affairs of the Assembly;
vi. Any other duties as may be assigned by the clerk.

For appointment to this position, a candidate must;
i. Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance) from a recognized university ( a masters degree will be an added advantage;
ii. Be a holder of CPA(K) or equivalent qualification;
iii. Have at least 5 years work experience, with at least two years at a management level;
iv. Shown merit in job performance.
