NHC Senior Procurement Officer Job in Kenya

National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a statutory body constituted under the Housing Act Cap 117 Laws of Kenya and is the principle agency for housing implementation in the country.

The Corporation wishes to recruit the following vacant positions and Invites applications from eligible Kenyan citizens:Senior Procurement Officer

Ref: NHC/SPROC/12/2013

The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for procurement of goods, works and services, evaluations of bids and tenders in line with the provisions of the Public Procurement & Disposal Act, procurement policies and procedures

He will be responsible for processing of award letters, procurement contracts as well as Coordinating the Disposal of obsolete and idle assets among others.
 

Job Requirements

• A Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent from a recognised University
• A post graduate diploma in procurement or Supplies Management
• Possess nine (9) years working experience ¡n supplies and/or procurement management
• Member of the KISM or other relevant professional body
• Demonstrated understanding of the Public Procurement and Disposal Act & regulations.
• Computer literate

The positions of General Managers will be on a three (3) year renewable contract term

The rest will be on permanent and pensionable basis

Successful candidates will be subject to performance contracting.
