To complement its international faculty, the PAU is seeking to fill the following long-term, short-term and part-time positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer or equivalent.
The thematic areas for which Academic Staff are required include the following:
1. Life and Earth Sciences (including Health and Agriculture) - Hosted by University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria for Western Africa.
Areas of Specialization:

Mineral Exploration and Petroleum Geosciences options

Reproductive Health and Reproductive Biology options.

Environmental Management

Plant Breeding2. Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation - Hosted by Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Juja, Kenya for Eastern Africa.
Areas of Specialization:

Molecular Biology and Biotechnology

Mathematics (Computational, Financial and Statistics options)

Civil Engineering (Arid and Semi-arid land) and Structural Engineering options

Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications and Power Systems options)3. Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences - Hosted by University of Yaoundé II, Soa, Cameroon for Central Africa.
Areas of Specialization:

Governance and Regional Integration

Trans-border Languages with Kiswahili option4. Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change) – Hosted by University of Tclemcen, Algeria, for Northern Africa.

Energy (Engineering and Policy options)Academic Staff Required:
Academic staff will be recruited from the host institution, the host country, other African countries, the African Diaspora and the international academic community, in the following categories

Long-term teaching staff

Part-time (three weeks or more) teaching staff from within and outside the Host Institution

International visiting scholars for teaching and researchRequirements:
Applicants must be Professors, Senior Lecturers or equivalent, with teaching and research experience in the relevant area of specialization.
They must show evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals, and attracting grants for research.
Applicants must also have supervised student research projects at Master’s and Doctoral levels in their area of specialization.
