The position is responsible for providing technical leadership and support in the implementation of the disability project. The Program Officer will ensure acceleration of core competencies for effective wheelchair service and support project interventions in Kenya. He/she will coordinate all project activities in Kenya across five counties.
The position holder will effectively lead and coordinate the respective Design, Monitoring & Evaluation (D, M & E) activities for the wheel chair access project in order to: 1) manage beneficiary data; 2) ensure quality service provision 3) monitor and report on impact of services on the lives of wheelchair users. He/ She will have to be abreast with the consortium Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system, USAID M&E best practices for the industry and WV LEAP framework.
