PROJECT EPIDEMOLOGIST

The Project for Reinforcing Animal Health Services in Somalia (RAHS) is implemented by the African Union Interafrican Bureau for Animal Resources (AU-IBAR) as lead agency in partnership with COOPI and Terra Nuova. Funding for the Action has been provided by the European Union.
The overall objective of the RAHS project is to improve the livelihoods and resilience to natural disasters and shocks of livestock dependent households in Somalia. This action will enhance the provision of animal health services in order to improve the health status of animals and further boost the contribution of animals to the resilience of livestock dependent households. The Project is implemented throughout Somalia covering the entire country through three zonal bases in Hargeisa for Somaliland, Garowe for Puntland, and Mogadishu for Central/ Southern Somalia.
