About the Job:
In this role you will be responsible for the verification and accounting of invoices, payments, sales, refunds, deposits and claims in line with QR policies and IAPs. You will also be responsible for preparation and accounting of journal vouchers as per IAP; timely sending of documents to outsourced centers and immediate escalation of the exception cases.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent certifications (eg CPA, ACCA) from a reputed university. You will have a minimum of 3 years accounting experience within an airlinewith a good working knowledge of operational and financial procedures. You will be experienced in any major ERP (ideally with Oracle) with a good working experience on spread sheets. You will have ideally come from an aviation/airline background. Basic knowledge of either Passenger or Cargo Revenue Accounting is definitely an asset.
You will be able to work independently with minimum supervision. An excellent level of written and spoken English is required. You must be legally eligible to work in Kenya. Please note this role does not offer relocation benefits.
