Nutrition Officer

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • At least 3 years experience working in complex, multifaceted, health and nutrition program.
  • Knowledge of national and international minimum standards in health program service delivery, including MOH, SPHERE, WHO
  • Proven capacity in health systems strengthening.
  • Proven experience in working with communities with diverse cultural practices and low literacy levels.
  • Computer literacy with possible advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and relevant health software skills
    Required Experience & Competencies:
  • Addition nutrition training in IMAM and MIYCN is A MUST.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with MOH
  • Experience in working with NGOs
  • Previous experience in Arid and Semi Arid Lands of Kenya
  • Previous experience in nutrition surveys and added advantage
  • Previous experience working in insecure contexts
  • Strong background in humanitarian projects
  • Kenyan nationals are encouraged to apply. International allowances are not available for this position. Salary and employee benefits are compliant to the Kenyan NGO Sector.
