Job Title: Housing & Hospitality Manager

Job Purpose: Oversee the maintenance of Student & Staff Housing, manage and market PAC University Guest houses in an efficient and profitable manner.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Develop and implement strategies which enables the university significantly grow its Guesthouses’ capacity;
• Develop principles and processes which guarantee customer satisfaction;
• Ensure that the university upholds principles and processes which guarantee customer satisfaction;
• Ensure Student and Staff houses and the Guesthouses are well maintained;
• Order supplies and determine need for maintenance, repairs, and furnishings;
• Maintain Guesthouse and Student housing records as per company requirements;
• Prepare and manage the Housing and Guesthouses’ budgets;
• Prepare ad hoc, quarterly and annual reports on housing and hospitality matters and developments on campus;
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a Masters Degree from a recognized University;
• Have 4 years administrative and leadership experience preferably in the hospitality industry and/orin university students’ accommodation services;
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles and processes which guarantee customer satisfaction;
• Be a detail-oriented person; a good team player and possess good customer care skills;
• Have effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently;
• Must be computer literate and have knowledge of safety procedures in university type accommodation;
• Be good natured, calm under pressure and flexible in managing time for the position involves a flexible schedule and requires someone who is willing to give attention at odd hours;
• Must be a person of high integrity and unquestionable character.
• Ability to teach some university level courses will be an added advantage.
• Must show knowledge and willingness to adhere to the PAC University Statement of Faith.
