PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Regional Finance Manager Level 1 (RFM 1) is the focal point for the finance issues of four countries in the region (Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Kenya), connecting field finance offices, global support offices, internal auditor, and other key stakeholders in the organization. The Regional Finance Manager Level 1(RFM 1) will lead the process in contextualizing, training, and troubleshooting the implementation of global finance and procurement policies and procedures in four countries in the region. The RFM 1 has technical accounting authority over field office Finance Managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Key Result #1 – Financial systems design and reform.
Key Result #2 – Budget creation and modification.
Key Result #3 – Performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Key Result #4 – Reporting and analysis.
Key Result #5 – Other duties.
Key Result #6 – Supervisory responsibilities.
