Our client is An NGO that deals with African Farms and Markets. They are looking for an Internship Officer (Communications)
The purpose of this job is to support the workflow and communication efforts and directly assists the management in their communications needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Write, edit, and maintain documents and timely information for the organization
Assist in the development, promotion, and execution of events targeted at internal audiences
Additional support to the internal communications, media, and marketing teams as required
Identify, develop and implement communications best practices
Assist in the research of and creation of proposals for new business plans
Assist in clients’ social media efforts including posting updates on Facebook fan pages and contributing ideas for company blogs

Educational requirements
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Communications/ Public Relations /Media Studies or any related field
Proven good performance in coursework
Online media experience is required.
Good communication skills both written and oral; including good documentation skills
Basic understanding of communication tools and techniques
Flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities, and willingness to learn
Good interpersonal skills
Good organization and planning skills
High attention to detail
High level of integrity and good work ethics
Able to work well in a team
Be result oriented and have initiative
Must be a Saved Christian
