Our client, a leading automotive company offering unlimited quality service on auto repairs, sales of major auto parts and vehicle sales seeks to recruit a Bodyshop Manager.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles, supervising the repairing and replacement of the defective parts.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Supervising the repairing of defective mechanical parts
Examining damaged vehicles and estimating repairing costs Directing the removal of electrical and hydraulic window, seats and trimming to gain access to vehicle body
Hiring technicians
Filling depressions with body filler
Removing damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch
Straightening bent automobile frame
Directing the filing and grinding repaired surfaces
Refinishing repaired surface
Supervising the alignment of wheels and bleeding hydraulic brake system
Supervising painting of surfaces after performing body repairs
Supervising the repairing of defective mechanical parts

Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Must have previous experience as a body shop estimator
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in similar industry
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles
Valid driver’s license
