Surveys & Surveillance Assistant Project Manager

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Surveys & Surveillance
Duty Station: Nairobi with Frequent Travel to the Field
Contract: One Year Renewable Subject to Availability of Funds
Job Summary:
The job holder will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing surveillance, survey and other assessments, conducting data analysis and writing survey reports.
S/he will build the capacity of Ministry of Health and Partner staff in conducting surveillance and surveys, produce brief reports for input to the National Nutrition Bulletin and represent Concern at the National Nutrition Information Working Group.
Job Specification:

A degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, Economics or Health and Nutrition with a strong statistical focus and survey/surveillance background.

At least three (3) years’ experience in health and nutrition surveillance and surveys (SMART, SQUEAC and LQAS methodology) and in data management including data analysis for large data sets
