AWF is seeking a motivated and high performing individual to provide temporary office support services. This position reports to the Human Resources and Administation Manager and will be based in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the HQ kitchens are clean and the necessary supplies are available at all times.
- Ensure all meeting rooms are clean and well-arranged as well provide tea/coffee for executive staff and guests as requested.
- Work with the Administrative Assistant on use of meeting rooms and provision of catering services.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment/appliances are in good working condition and report any malfunctions to Administrative Assistant/caretaker respectively for further follow-up with the relevant vendors.
- Ensure the HQ office has adequate supplies; deal with vendors that provide office supplies i.e. kitchen supplies, sanitary supplies and drinking water as well as ensure timely payments of the same/
- Provide office assistant services i.e. photocopying and binding services, daily circulation of mail within the office as required.
- Provide errands and banking services when need arises.
- Attend to any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum of O’ level certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years in a busy office environment
- Ability to operate the switchboard and office equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, fluency in English and Kiswahili.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting
- Team oriented, flexible and adaptable, with positive attitude and strong work ethics
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details
- Must demonstrate professional demeanor
